George C
Hi, my name is George Coe.
I’ve been involved with the Bern’s teaching through the Daymakers for about two years now.
That means every morning at 6.45 we’re on the phone talking about some piece of the work.
And they tell me that it’s had an effect on me.
It’s harder for me to see than those around me.
I do know that the Command Academy site has led me into a feeling of excitement and wanting to contribute and to write and to participate.
I find that working with Tom Myers is a joy.
And Stephen and the others have been lots of fun to work with.
So the question is, if you find that there’s some puzzlement in your life, like why do I do what I do when I know I shouldn’t do it and still do it?
There’s insight to the question in Berns’ work.
He really has found a different paradigm is the accurate way of saying it.
A different model which suggests that one can live a life of contribution and service rather than fear and constant battle for survival.
For people in business, it’s time to start growing the business rather than going out of business.
The mental attitude that is associated with going out of business in times of trouble is what sinks the ship.
The Academy is a place where you can talk with others, question, argue, challenge, and go back and have perhaps some new insights.
Perhaps your questions generate new insights for other people.
I’ve found that it’s happened for me.
I listen to the discussions after the basic Daymaker session.
I get lots of information that shows up somehow somewhere in my life.
So it’s an exciting place to play.
It’s full of information that’s useful.
And it’s a way to live a life of love rather than fear.
Thank you.
